– Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution
– Registered and Licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB)
– Valid annual Practicing License
- Good knowledge of essential medications and knowledge of the pharmacy practice aligned with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
- Strong dispensing accuracy and ability to escalate complex clinical queries
- Excellent Inventory management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ethical, integrity and professionalism
- Basic financial and Information Management system literacy, especially POS
- Accurately dispense prescription and over the counter (OTC) medications
- Interpret prescriptions and verify legality and completeness as per PPB and Institutional guidelines
- Provide appropriate patient counselling on safe use of medication
- Ensure efficient stock management through close monitoring of stock levels and expiries
- Ensure pharmacy operations minimize stock losses, pilferage and expiries
