This page explains how users can make privacy and personal-data requests relating to Jobz Kenya. Use the form on this page to submit a request. Access/export requests use email verification before any personal data is released; other request types are logged for privacy-team review.
1. Requests You Can Make
- Ask whether we hold personal data about you.
- Request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion or anonymisation where applicable.
- Object to certain processing or request restriction of processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Ask about third parties or categories of third parties with whom data has been shared.
- Ask questions about retention, transfers, or security safeguards.
2. How to Submit a Request
Use the form below to submit your request. If you cannot use the form, email privacy@jobz.co.ke or datarequest@jobz.co.ke.
3. What to Include
- Your full name.
- The email address or contact details you used on Jobz Kenya.
- The type of request you are making.
- The page, form, or feature involved, if known.
- Enough information for us to locate the relevant data.
Do not send passwords, financial information, national ID numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information when making a request.
4. Identity Verification
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. This helps protect personal data from being disclosed to the wrong person.
5. Response Time
We aim to respond within a reasonable period and in line with applicable Kenyan data-protection requirements. If a request is complex, we may need additional time or information.
6. Limits
Some requests may be limited where retention is required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal claims, or legitimate operational needs. We will explain where a request cannot be fully completed.
